Twin Alternating Water Softeners
All of the Dime Water, Inc. commercial water softeners can be 
conformed as alternating twins. The AFT series uses a custom series of valves that simplifies installation and is very economical. Alternating twin systems provide treated water 24/7 by having one of the tanks in service while the second tank is either regenerating or is in standby. The commercial water softeners are meter controlled so that when the capacity of the tank in service is exhausted, the standby tank goes on-line and the new off line tank begins to regenerate. This particular series regenerates the off-line tank with TREATED water so it is ideal for rough water applications. Alternating twin softeners should be considered where ever there is not at 2 hour "window" of time to be without treated water or in cases where efficiency of salt and water use is important, especially where water is extremely hard. ALL VALVES INCLUDE A TRANSFORMER FOR 24 VOLT OPERATION. 9100 VALVES HAVE AS A STANDARD EITHER A 3/4" OR 1" MALE PLASTIC PIPE THREAD CONNECTION. 9500 VALVES ARE 1.5" FEMALE PIPE THREAD CONNECTIONS. 18 x 40 BRINE TANKS HAVE A BRINE SAFETY VALVE.
