Ultra Violet Systems for Water Disinfection
The rays from an Ultra Violet (UV) lamp are known to prevent multiplying of organisms due to the disruption of their DNA/RNA (see technical overview section). A truly CHEMICAL FREE
method of treating water for potability. Of primary importance is the filtration
of the water entering the UV light to 5 microns to prevent the passage of organisms hidden
in the shadow of the light rays. Also important is to replace the lamp when the warning beep is noticed.
All units have a day counter that gives a warning after 365 days of unit ON time.
