UV Plus Water Filter

light commercial reverse osmosis
The UV Plus systems are designed to provide safe, clear, and excellent tasting drinking water in an economical and easy to use single unit.

uv water filtrationThe cartridge filtration portion produces visibly crystal clear water and its activated carbon eliminates volatile organics such as petroleum residue, pesticides and insecticides as it also removes objectionable tastes and odors.
The filtered water is then processed by ultraviolet light to rid it of harmful micro-organisms such as bacteria and viruses.

The combined system then:

  • Removes chlorine with its associated taste and odor as well as health issues
  • Removes pesticides, insecticides, and petroleum residue.
  • Removes all suspended solids down to 5 micron particles.
  • Sterilizes the water through the Ultraviolet (UV) process which destroys most harmful bacteria, viruses, cysts and other organisms such as mold. Examples include legionella pneumophila, dysentery bacilli, cryptosporidium, giardia lamblia and E. coli.
